What will you do?

As a Repair Mechanic you are part of our Service & Support team. On a daily basis you will be busy in the workshop, the tasks include:

  • Analyzing work on the trailer;
  • Disassemble the trailer (in whole or in part) for repair or complete overhaul;
  • Replacing parts that are worn or defective;
  • Repairing damage to the trailer;
  • Finding causes of malfunctions, these can be electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, when the malfunction is found you repair it;
  • Perform periodic maintenance on trailers to ensure safety and reliability. This includes checking and replacing brakes, steering, lighting and fluids;
  • Perform thorough inspections of used trailers to assess overall technical condition. This includes visual inspection as well as functional testing of various components and systems.

As a repair technician with us, you will have the opportunity to advance to an all-around repair technician position. This includes being able to perform the duties of a repair technician independently. You can carry out maintenance independently on location at a customer and participate in a breakdown service.

    What do we ask?

    • You have at least an intermediate vocational degree in engineering, for example Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive or Agricultural Mechanization;
    • If you want to follow a BBL training in one of these directions, this is also possible with us;
    • You know how to get to work and love tinkering;
    • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems. Or willing to undergo training;
    • You can quickly and effectively identify and solve technical problems;
    • Welding experience, preferably with certification. Or willing to undergo training.

    Where do you work?

    At Nooteboom Trailers B.V. we work hard to design, produce and maintain innovative trailers for exceptional road transport. The product range includes trailers and semi-trailers with a loading capacity of 20 to 200 tons. We focus mainly on the European market.
