Service Technician

What will you do?

As a Service Technician, you will be part of our Service & Support team. You will mainly work in our workshop. On average you will work one day a week on location, this can extend to a whole week. The tasks include:

• Performing scheduled maintenance and repair on trailers, in the workshop;
• Diagnosing technical problems and performing appropriate repairs;
• Performing maintenance and repair work at customers’ sites, within Europe and sometimes abroad. You may spend time on location for a week working on projects;
• Provide technical training and support to customers, including providing advice on trailer operation and maintenance.

• You have at least an intermediate vocational degree in engineering, for example Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Agricultural Mechanization;
• Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers;
• Command of the English and German languages, both oral and written. Or willing to undergo language training;
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems;
• Welding experience, preferably with certification. Or willing to take a course;
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe and occasionally outside Europe.

At Nooteboom Trailers B.V. we work hard to design, produce and maintain innovative trailers for exceptional road transport. The product range includes trailers and semi-trailers with a loading capacity of 20 to 200 tons. We focus mainly on the European market.
